Marvel's Spider-Man joins LEGO Junior's summer launch

The superhero leads the charge of three new sets launched under the Juniors brand for this summer.
Marvel’s Spider-Man has joined the LEGO Juniors line-up, as the hit construction brand launches three new sets for the summer.

Called the Spider-Man Hideout Set, the latest addition to the LEGO Marvel collection encourages kids and fans to help Spidey defend his hideout from aerial assault from the Green Goblin.
Priced at £29.99, the set features an Easy to Build Spider-Man Hideout with a slide, Spider-Man’s helicopter, Green Goblin’s air glider and a police motorbike.

Meanwhile, all three minifigures arrive equipped with their own accessories, including Spider-Man’s web and string, Green Goblin’s glider and more.

Elsewhere, LEGO is bolstering its Juniors offering this summer with the launch of the Family House, priced at £24.99.

This set features an Easy to Build House boasting a living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom as well as a garden complete with a BBQ and a swimming pool.

The set includes three minifigures: mum, dad and child, plus the family dog. The house set also features opening doors, windows, kitchen cabinets and a mailbox along with a whole host of household accessories.

Completing the summer launch line-up is LEGO Junior’s new Road Work Truck, aimed at young construction fans and priced at £15.99.

This Easy to Build truck features a movable roof and moving scoop and hook. It also includes two road worker minifigures and road work signs.

“The cool themes of these new set are sure to appeal to children, parent and gift givers alike,” said Ombeline Marcus, LEGO Juniors brand manager.

“As with the existing LEGO Juniors collection they are designed to provide a positive first experience of LEGO which gives them confidence in building, driving early recruitment in to the brand and ensuring builders have a smooth transition through the LEGO lifecycle.”
