Spin Master unveils toys to life collectables Sick Bricks

The range of collectable construction sets can be brought to life with in a mobile game.
Spin Master has unveiled a new range of toys to life collectables that manages to blend construction with mobile gaming.

Called Sick Bricks, the new line features a collection of characters such as Rotten Walker, Rusty Nuggets and Tiberious Warpspeed.

Each character – featuring an array of ‘special moves’ – can be used in conjunction with Spin Master’s new construction sets, featuring larger monsters such as sharks, aliens and robots.

The new Sick Bricks range also features a mobile game, compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

The game introduces players to Sick City, in which, playing as their Sick Bricks characters, kids must thwart the advances of the evil Overlord Omega, the leader of the baddies.
Featuring various levels to explore and unlock, characters must use their powers of burping, farting and puking to make their way through an onslaught of enemies.

But the Sick Brick tale does not end there.
Similar to the likes of Disney Infinity, Skylanders and Nintendo’s Amiibo, Sick Brick toys can be brought into the game via an Optical Beam.

Allowing kids to capture the image of their Sick Brick character via their device’s camera, the game lets players import characters, monsters, vehicles and complete play sets in to the game.
Sick Brick characters can then be interchanged and mixed and matched to create a cast of custom made characters. Once a hybrid character is beamed in to the game, it will automatically unlock more secret content.

Sick Brick toys will hit stores across the US from March 12th this year.
