Character Option UK lanuched a new series building sets-Scooby Doo

Scooby-Doo construction toys incoming

Warner Bros Consumer Products has extended its long-term partnership with Character Options - with the firm now set to launch a range of Scooby-Doo construction toys under its Character Building banner. across EMEA and North America.

The deal includes rights to brick-based construction vehicles, buildings and collectable figures.

"The Character Group was the obvious choice to take Scooby-Doo into the construction toy category in Europe and North America," said Bruno Schwobthaler, SVP, sales and business development, WBCP EMEA. "We're confident that they can replicate the success of the toy range through construction lines and we very much look forward to building the Scooby brand further."

Jon Diver, joint MD at The Character Group, added: "We're delighted to now be the company taking Scooby into the construction toy aisle in Europe and North America for the first time through our successful new Character Building brand."

Star Trek Kre-o range by Harsbo

The Star Trek website has posted pictures of the full Star Trek Kre-o range from Hasbro.

It includes a $69.99 U.S.S. Enterprise play-set (US), a $29.99 Klingon Bird of Prey, $19.99 Spock's Volcano Mission set, $14.99 Transporter Trouble, $7.99 Micro Build Ships, $7.99 Space Dive set and $2.99 figures.

Plus, the Star Trek Fighter Pods is exclusive to Toys R Us in the US ($19.99). The prices listed above are approximate US retail prices.

The toys hit shelves in the US this May.
